But they grow good had some minimal frost damage on the Mango and pineapple. We planted about a dozen of various fruit trees in the last couple of years including; banana, orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, grapefruit, sugar apple, star fruit, papaya, and a couple of coconuts.

I've seen a number coconuts in the area. They all seem to be doing very well so far. When we arrive Saturday after three months we'll know for sure. I have a Valencia orange that is about 15 years old, big and well established, and I planted a Ruby Red grapefruit, a meyer lemon, a Mineola tangelo, and a Floridabelle peach.

I do not know how they are doing with this cold I've resigned myself to the fact that I really cannot count on anything until we live there full time. I read that there are now apples that do well in Florida that come from Israel.

Once we are there for good I will see how they are doing and research more before I plant replacements.
